When it comes to Irish whiskey, Jameson is by far our most favourite brand. And thankfully, it has been growing like crazy in India over the last few years. It’s a whiskey founded by a Scotsman, produced in Ireland, and owned by the famous French liquor company – Pernod Ricard. What an irony!
Beyond our regular rendezvous with Jameson, we were recently invited to be part of an unforgettable experience called #MagFieldsWithJameson. Jameson India team once again pulled out all the stops to bring together a bunch of awesome people for a road trip to Magnetic Fields Music Festival at Alsisar Mahal, Jhunjhunu. It was three days of unlimited Jameson, great food & continuous bumping into old friends.
Our journey’s first pit-stop was a surprise BBQ by good folks at The Gourmet Street Kitchen & Artisan Meats in the middle of a village in Haryana on a very hot Friday! Despite the hot weather, Jameson bar kept everyone cool.
We stayed at the nomadic Bedouins luxury tents close to the Alsisar Mahal…
Two things that kept everyone grooving all night – Jameson cocktails & Magnetic Field’s fantastic line up of musicians.
We love an experience with a little history behind it! Jameson whiskey tasting session by the brand team – Rory & Lorcan was a great bottle opener 😉
Dancing ensued in to the late hours as we enjoyed ourselves while consuming copious amounts of Jameson.
Not to forget the Irish Coffee that kept everyone warm on a rather cold evening.
For those who’ve never been to Magnetic Fields Music Festival, start planning your 2017 already as Jameson will still be rocking the party there and you don’t want to miss it!
All in all the experience was a huge success and we are now excited to see what the Jameson India team organises next year!
